The Discovery

Jake fell asleep in the chair, the warm fire crackled as the night went on.

Katie got up at 8:30am to start breakfast she was making bacon,eggs and toast

Jake's noise twitched, "Mmm, 5 more minutes mom." he said as he rolled over the shot up, "OW FREAKING CRAP." he said as he held his sides.

"you really should stop doing that" she said "want some food?"

"Sure." he said then stood up and walked to the table, "I'm a bit surprised, i'm healing faster then I expected."

"its cause were good people" she said "and were some of use our trained healers" then she sat down and started eating

Gavin yawned and woke up, "Well looks like the storm is gone. Once your done eating, we should get training."

"ugh..ok" she said eating slowly

"Oh ha ha, now you eat slow." he said as he began to make himself something to eat.

"when have i ever eatin fast?" she said swallowing some food

"Eh, i don't know." he said as he made toast and coffee.

katie finnished eating and got read for traiing

Gavin finished up, he took got ready. Once he was done he went to the door, "Ok Katie, come on." then looked to Jake, "You should stay here."

"alright" she said and walked out the door into a field

Gavin and Katie went to the field, it was a cloudy day and very cold but doable. "Eh, it's nippy out." Gavin said as he rubbed his hands together.

"oh dont be a baby and lets start" she said

"Mmm." Gavin said as he looked sideways at Katie, "Anyways, with soul, you can identify someone. with spirit you can tell how strong they are." Gavin started to explain, "It is very easy, just focus the power to your eyes and you can see there level of body energy. There is 2 different types of energy with a person, body energy and power energy."

"go on" she said

"By focusing your powers energy in your eyes, you can see through the skin and see what kind of energy the person has and how much. Like so." Gavin blinked, his eyes were now a pale blue and they were glowing, 'It ether is gray or a pale blue."

"ok i get it now"s he said doing what gavin did focusing her power and she blinked and her eye's were a pale gray

"Very good, now what do you see?" Gavin asked cause sometimes it didn't work.

"i see your whole outline of your body" she said "and i also see something behind you" she said

Gavin blinked, "Something behind me?" he said as he turned around.

"ya its like 20 feet away" she said

Gavin turned around to have something hit him in the face, "Ah, get it off me!" he said as he tired to get it off his face. (It is a lemur...how did a lemur get here?)
