* SAMSUNG Foundation of Culture (삼성문화재단)

The Samsung Foundation of Culture, established in 1965 by the company’s founding chairman, Byung-Chull Lee, is a passionate patron of the arts. The foundation oversees Leeum, Samsung Museum of Art; Ho-Am Art Museum; Rodin Gallery; Samsung Children’s Museum; and supports other cultural and artistic activities as well as academic research. In 1965, he formally donated(6 billion KRW) one-third of his fortune(18 billion KRW) to SAMSUNG Foundation of Culture.[60]

* The Ho-Am Foundation(호암재단)- Samsung Chairman, Byung-Chull Lee (pen-name Ho-Am)

The Ho-Am Foundation is a socio-cultural foundation established to perform community services created in memory of the late founding chairman Byung-Chull Lee. The Foundation upholds chairman Lee's personal philosophy regarding culture and a corporate responsibility to promote it.

* SAMSUNG Welfare Foundation(삼성복지재단)

Committed to building an ideal society, the Samsung Welfare Foundation has been funding a wide range of community programs that address various economic, social and cultural needs since 1989. focus, in particular, on the well-being of children, and on giving hope to low-income and socially marginalized groups by empowering them with tools of self-reliance instead of donations that provide only temporary solutions. The “A Little Sharing for a Lot of Love” program, initiated by Samsung Electronics and co-administered with the Samsung Welfare Foundation since 1998, works concordantly, supporting the development and operation of social welfare programs.

* Samsung Life Public Welfare Foundation(삼성생명공익재단)

Samsung Life Public Service Foundation was established to carry out meaningful public contributions from the company. The foundation sponsors Samsung Seoul Hospital in providing the best quality medical service for public health, Samsung Childcare Center for working parents and low-income families, Noble County, a quality silver town for the aging population, Bichumi Women’s Award to recognize those devoted for women’s rights improvement, and Community Mental Health Research Center to resolve social issues caused by rapid industrialization.

* SAMSUNG Press Foundation(삼성언론재단)

SAMSUNG Press Foundation, founded in 1995, now ranks as Korea's largest press organization. It has supported 80 journalists and other members of media in 1996, 142 in 1997, and 355 by the first half of 1998. Its current activities include media training, media-related research, and development of the press infrastructure; and it is now looking to extend its support into other areas of Korea's mass media.

The Samsung Equal Opportunity Scholarship Foundation provides academic scholarships to children and teenagers who have been disadvantaged by a lack of educational opportunities.
