Ryo meets Katie

Ryo was walking through the woods wen he hered a noise "whos there" he said as he pulled out a knife.

Jumps out from a bush "drop ur wep and gimme ur money"

"trust me you wouldent want to do that" said Ryo whos hand started to grow red.

pulls out sword "i think i would" she said disappering into the darkness

"I dont think hiding in the shadows is gonna get you anywhere!" shouted Ryo "Im a former Thief myself so I know everything in the book!"

" i think ur bluffing" she says

"Im not" siad Ryo smiling then he was behind the girl with a dagger to her throat "Now what our name?" he said smileing.

"hmm... really think u can hurt me with that pocketknife?" she asked

"No but I [i]will hurt you with this" as Ryos hand turned red and as he placed it on her back the girl felt a burning sensation.

"Ryo, that is enough." Brianne said as she came from a near by bush. She had her hands behind her back and a stale glare on his face.

"Ok Bria" he said as he stopped it

"Ryo I have something you need back at the inn, why don't you ask your friend here if she would come?" She raised her eyebrow, "Don't be rude, say sorry."

"why would i go to an inn?" she says

"I need to speak to you. You have a rare gift like Ryo so I need to speak to you about it." She said as she stared at her with a blank look on her face.

"Ok..... what is my o so rare gift" he said smirking at Bria and glareing at Katie.

"You can talk and control a rare bird, she can talk and control dragons. To be able to do that is rare. You get it now." Brianne crossed her arms.

"Well there used to be a whole Phionex Guardians" siad Ryo looking down and starting to cry.

"Ryo?" Carter came from behind Brianne, "Ryo why are you crying?" Brianne sighed, "He wanted to come and see you." Carter looked at Ryo then walked to him, "Ryo?"

"who's that?"she asked

"This is Carter." Brianne said as she rubbed her forehead. Carter looked at Katie then smiled, "Hello lady."

she laughs "lady" continues laughing "my name is Katie" she said

"Oh....hello Katie." his smile widened.

"so.....why do i need to go to the inn??" she said staring off into space

"I asked if you want to go to the inn, not that you need to." She said in a calm voice, "I would like to speak to you though about your power and stuff."
