The Discovery

Katie now eight-teen years old was walking around inside trying to figure out the new power she had just stubled upon while getting some food one day from a fruit stand

Gavin waited in the land frozen lands of Yura, waiting for Katie to show up. The wind was cold and the ground was as hard as rock yet there was no snow on the ground.

Walked out side of her home and walked to where her teacher was waiting
"Hi there" she said to Gavin

Gavin turned around to see Katie, "Good morning, are you ready?" he said with his hands behind his back.

"Not realy but sure" she said

"Alright, we will start with the warm up. Part 1 is summoning the souls energy. Just like you would with the darkness, make a ball of energy." He said then demonstrated.

She did just as gavin demostrated

"Very good, hold that for half an hour, trust me it's good practice." Gavin said as he was going to do so as well.

"meh ok whatever you say" she said

Half an hour passed, "Ok, that was part 2 which was grip, part 3 is level. I want you to now increase and decrease the ball." he demonstrated.

She did just as he did and she started sweating a bit

Half an hour passed, Gavin was perfectly fine. "Ok you can stop, the 1st move I want to show you is called a soul web." He made two balls, one in each hand and moved his hands in a blur, it took him 1 min to make a light blue web that connected to each finger.

Again she didnt what the teacher told her but when she made the light blue web connect her hands were shaking from the power beacuse of the fact that she hadnt used it in 3 years

"Try going slow since you seem to be shaking." Gavin said as he looked to her hands.

"sorry i havent used my powers in a long time" she said

"It's ok, it happens to lot of people." he said as he rubbed the back of his neck.

She got the blue stuff all over her hands and then looked to gavin fro the next instuctions

Gavin once again made 2 ball of soul energy but this time he slowed it down, he pressed the two together then pulled them apart then started to weave them and changed the strings to different fingers, he kept doing this till he made a web, "You can also do this with 2 sticks." he said as he held it up to show her it.

"alright" she said as she did what she saw him do and held it up for him to see

"Not bad, but it needs to be a bit tighter." he said as he examined the web.

"Okay but can we take a break..im kinda tired" she said

"Sure no problem." Gavin said as he walked to his pack.

Katie conjoured an apple but felt like going back into town and getting some really good food

"If you like, I can transport us to town and we can get some rest and good food there." he said as he swung the pack over his shoulder.

"alright" she said "but where to eat?" she asked
