The Discovery

Gavin grabbed the handle of the door and slowly opened it, his eyes peered around in the room then he threw the dagger near Katie and down fell wood demon, Gavin tisked, "Annoying pests, wood demons are very common." The wood demon was the size of a small dog and was brown, "Don't worry, it's dead now."

Katie picked it up and threw it into the fire (muahhahahhaa ima pyro)

"Well then" said Ryo as the wood demon landed near him "Anyway Katie im sorry I couldnt be here in me human form" he said flying up and landing on Katie shoulder.

"its alright" she said and then she picked him up and let him go outside and walked into the darkness and she came out with her dragon about the size of a full grown raven

Jake woke up, he slowly sat up, "Eh, eh, don't be sitting up." Gavin said as he walked into the room, "You need to lay down and rest." Jake didn't listen, "Where's Katie?" he asked.

"im right here dont worry" she said coming in the door way with a dragon on her shoulder

"Are you ok?" Jake asked as he looked to her. "Katie, it's bad for him to be sitting up. The wound might open up and it took me forever to sow it closed." Gavin headed to the kitchen and grabbed a cup of water and some painkillers, he went back into the room and handed them to Jake, "This might help with the pain."

"please jake lay back down" she said sitting down on the bed next to him

Jake took the pills and laid down, "I have to go back home though, they are going to get suspicious if they figure out I'm not at the castle." Gavin sighed, "Then I can go to them and say, you are going to be staying with me for a while to train."

"why dont you let me go, gavin" she said " they know me a bit better"

"No, you should stay here and I been a friend of theirs for 18 years." Gavin put on his coat and scarf, "Besides, you might catch a cold, it's raining like cats and dogs out there." Gavin said then left.

"aww please" she said looking at him with innocent eye's

"No." He said then closed the door, "Oy oy oy." he said as he went outside, the wind and rain was hard to see through but he made it to the castle. He told the king and queen what he told Katie and Jake he would say and they nodded, "Take care of him then and don't hurt him." his mother said, Gavin smiled, "I won't, don't worry." He made it back to the inn, he was soaking wet, "Ah crap, it's freezing outside." He said as he took off his coat but even his clothes were soaked. Gavin made his hands glow red and started to rub his arms, his clothes were drying, "This move is called, fire gloves. It's used mainly to pick up hot stuff or to melt rock."

Katie was sitting in a chair playing with her dragon " oh hey gavin welcome back you look cold" she said

"I am, I'm freezing. How is Jake doing?" he said as he went to make some food.

"i dont know..he fell asleep" she said throwing new cloths at him

"Thanks, and that's good. He needs to rest or the wounds won't heal." Gavin said then headed to the bathroom to change.

"ugh..im soooo bored in here" she said

"Eh, I can't help it if it's raining but if you want to caught a cold then fine, go outside. No shops are opened though." Gavin said as he came out, "Anyway it's lunch time so I'm going to make stew." (WARNING, GAVIN SUCKS AT COOKING REMEMBER.)

"wait gaivn why dont you let me cook huh? please" she said

"Ok...." He said as he looked to her, "Why you think my cooking sucks?" his tone that time had humor.

"well..im not going to feed around the bush but yes it does....you need some womenly help" she said laughing

Gavin blinked and lowered his head, "Oy." he handed her the knife and sat down resting his elbow on the table and leaning his head on his fist, grumbling, "Womanly help, I don't need that I just need a dam cookbook."

"i am a cookbook if u know how to read me" she said making food

Gavin hit his head on the table, "Not what I need, I'm going to bring you everywhere I go."
