Mission 1: The Kings secert

Jack and Zati walked down the hall to the throne room. The large iron doors open to show the king sitting on the throne. Jack and Zati bowed, "Raise my children." said the king. "My lord, I am John Peterson and this is Zati." Jack used the last name as a code name since he was sent to jail so many times that prison guards knew who he was too well. John Peterson was Jack's real father but Jack took the last name Deviants from his mothers middle name. Jack straighten up "You have asked that two people come and help out around the castle for a while, we are here to help." The king picked meat out from between his teeth, "Very well be off to the cellar then to start count supplies." Jack bowed again, "Very well my lord, Lets be off then Zati." and they walked to the cellar.
Outside the castle walls, Brianne and Scarlet were at the front gates and Alex went to the back gates. Brianne saw two guards walk out of the gates to the town, "Must be tax season again." Scarlet nodded, "The King always charges a ridiculous amount of gold."

"what the hell is this," Zati cursed as he moved forward through the cellar. "we are guardians not servant hands. this man is truly corrupt, oh how i would love to electracute the hell out of him."

Jack laughed, "I would love to see you do so. That man has my head out for 999937483 gold." Jack looked around and saw a bottle of wine on a barrel, "Oh, nice." He stuffed the bottle in his pack. "We are under cover, that is what we are right now. You wouldn't believe how much info we can get." Jack up from a barrel, "All we need is to find someone that might have heard a conversation." Jack then looked to a woman near a window, "One sec, you stay here and ease drop on someone near those sacks." Jack went out of hearing range and was now chating with the lady.

he eased his way toward the maidens near the sacks of potatoes.

"that bastard he's having his men come to my house every night just to make sure we arn't keeping his precious takes from them. he wont be satisfied till he has run us dry." she said.

"oh honey i know, he tried to beat me and jethro last week when he found out we didnt have any money to give him, then he realized he hadn't paid us so he just had our pay kept for the rest of the month. we don't have any thing."

Zati ground his teeth angrely sparks burning the potato in his hands.

One guard saw what happened and when to the king for order. "KILL THEM, KILL THEM BOTH!" the guard bowed, "Yes my lord." The guards went to the door and waited for the signle.

Zati cursed and sent lightning through the chest of the first guard and began sapping energy from the other guards in the room while he pulled a sword from an old set of armor in the cellar. he glanced to jack to see what to do next.

Jack took out a whistle and blew in it. "There now we need to hold these guys off for now." He tucked the whistle in a pouch. He cracked his neck and fingers, "OK, who show i kill 1st." He brought out his dagger in one hand and made a shadow ball in the other. The guards all rushed in and started slashing and hacking away. "Not very clean fighting." He said as he dogged and blocked and attacked. *Shadow Rage* he thought and his body turned into a shadow. He then zipped around and slashed ten men. When he landed, one guard came up behind him and was about to stab him through the chest.

zati charged forward with the sword and sent lightning through it and stabbed him in the chest and sent lightning through to the man behind him. He sucked tghe last bit of energy from the two men about to atack him and then moved in ot help master jack.

Ryo ran passed Zati "You annoying guy" he shouted at Jack smiling "Whats up?" said Ryo taking out a few guys with a fireball.

Jack spun around and kicked a guy in the head, snapping his neck. "Where is Brianna?" He said panting *We can't stall anymore even if Ryo is here." Jack didn't have anymore options. *Well she did says if they didn't come in 5 min with in the call then i could use it.* He took a deep breath in *Hidden mole technique.* and blew out a could of light, blinding the guards as he grabbed Zati and Ryo and melted with some smoke he made and traveled to a hallway. He stopped to let them gain there sight back. Jack grabbed his arm in pain. The hidden mole technique was one of Jacks homemade moves but it only works 6 times and affects one part of his body. This was only used when he need to escape. His arm felt like it was burning and he didn't darn see what it looked like. Jack cursed under his breath for there being too much guards.

"are you alright master?" he asked as he had felt the energy being built up and used a lightning shield to block most of the lgiht from blinding him.

Ryo who looked at the arm handed Jack a vile of a water like liqued "drink this" said Ryo as he regained his sight.

"Trust me boy that won't work." He pecked around the corner, "We need to get to the gates and quickly, but the only way to do so is if I do the technique again, well it wouldn't be a waste of time." He looked back to Ryo and Zati, "I'm going to teleport us to the main gates, You two cover your eyes when I use it again. got it?" Jack was right now more concerned about there safely. He need to get them out before they got caught.

*We could just kill all the guards with Scarlet's techniques but then that means the land of earth would be defense least, so we are just going to have to run for it and hide in Oakwood forest.* His arm was going num and it felt like dead weight, *I can't just stand around and think, if my arm goes completely num, I can't attack or defend right.* He put a hand on Zati and Ryo's shoulders *Hidden mole technique* This time they just poof into smoke and traveled to the gates.
They landed near them not at them and saw Brianne and Scarlet. "Hey we have a problem." he shouted. *Man this mission sucks.* he thought, as he tried to stand up, he fell right down and clutched his ribs, "Fucking shit." *At least it isn't my other arm or my legs or my head.* "You two run to the inn and get Alice and the other person." Brianne and Scarlet ran to Jack, "Don't tell me you used it!?" said Brianne as she and Scarlet helped him up, "Alex is going to the inn, we should go there too."

Zati felt the wave of energy finally wash over him, and along with it the emotions of the guards he had stole it from. it made him noatious and he ran over to a bush and puked. he came back with tears in his eyes and knew that he would be playing songs of mourning for the next week at least. "well i know not to do that again."
