beginning of a new life

Horu woke up and yawned as she stretched, "Morning." she sleepily said as she looked around.

"Have you slept well?", Siera asked Horu. She had turned her head to Kevin again. He was still asleep and she had the feeling that he was dreaming.

"Not too bad." she said then looked to Kevin, "He is having a bad dream, maybe play the music box. He likes to play the song it sings." Horu spread her wings and flew to the music box.

Siera turned to the music box. "I hope it will help him.", she said and turned it on.

The music flowed through the room, after a short while, Kevin was dreaming peacefully again. Also Horu fell asleep again but fell off the dresser.

Siera laughed as she saw the dragon falling and put him on the dresser again. "Next time be more careful while you are sleeping.", she whispered.

Horu snored as rings of smoke came out of her snout, she was peacefully asleep.

Siera slowly walked out of the house again. There she lend against the door and watched. She could see nothing.

The next morning, it was sunny and lightly snowing. Kevin opened up his eyes and slowly sat up, "Seria?" he said as he rubbed his eyes.

Siera had been standing in front of the house the whole time. Then she heared Kevin. Fast she rushed into the house. "Good Morning.", she said friendly. Then she sat down next to Kevin. "How are you?"

"A bit dizzy but good, have you been outside all night?" Kevin asked as he swung his legs over the edge of the couch.

"Yes. I wanted to let you and the dragons sleep.", she said. That was only part of the truth, but she did not want to tell Kevin that here might be still more enemies outside.

"Ok. Are you hungry? I can made pancakes." he said as he stood up and walked to the kitchen.

Siera looked after Kevin. She could not understand how he just could stand up and begin to cook after what had happened. "Ahm, yes, thanks.", she said to the boy.

Loru was asleep on the apple core, his stomach was big and round. Kevin started to make the pancake as he hummed.

Siera looked at Loru. "It seems he has eaten too much yesterday.", she said and started to laugh. Then she turned to Kevin. "I think you know Loru and Horu, am I right?"

"Yes, I kind of help raised them." Kevin said as he finished the pancakes, "I am the only one who can talk and control the element dragons."

Siera nodded. Then she took the pancakes. "Maybe we should wake them up. They will be happy to talk to you.", she said.

"I think they should rest more, they must be tired." Kevin said as he sat down.

Siera laughed. "I do not know how long dragons have to sleep, but Horu for example sleeps for hours now. And when I say hours, I mean it like that.", she said.

"I rather my friends sleep all day then feel tired all day. Going in that storm last night must of been very hard, especially for Horu." Kevin said as he poured some tea.

Siera nodded. "she really seemed a little bit tired yesterday. And she wanted a steak. But after she was in the fire, she fell asleep.", she said.

Kevin laughed a bit, "She loves cow, chicken and pig. She doesn't like turkey or deer or rabbit." Kevin knew allot about Horu and Loru.

Siera nodded. "Loru told me what he likes and what he do in winter.", she said to Kevin. "May I ask you how you met them the first time?", she asked the boy.

"I meet Loru in a pond at the tower. I forgot how I meet Horu though." Kevin finished the pancakes and started washing dishes.
