beginning of a new life

"I can use air and make it very thin and sharp but sometimes i accidentally do that." he said calmly as he picked up the wood too.

Siera looked at what was left from the tree. "I would have used my metal.", she thought loud. Then she began to walk back to the house.

"There are many ways to live with your powers but I don't like depending on them all the time." he said as he too started off towards the house.

"I have been depending on my powers most of the time. But also on my other abilities, such as the sword fight.", she said to Kevin. "I have never thought how it might be living without them."

"Then hows about we try something out." He said as they came closer, "Starting tomorrow, nether of us use our power for anything at all, not even to cut wood." Kevin stopped and put down his wood, he put his index and middle finger over where his heart was which is what Brianne did allot, "I promise to, how about you?"

Siera smiled. "That sounds funny. I promise on everything that is important for me to try not using my power.", she said. She did not knew how to make an oath, because she had start to forget parts of her life as fellower of Mastermind, and that was the only time she made an oath.

Kevin picked up the wood, "So what can you do without your power?" he said as he walked off again.

"Hm, we will see what I have to do.", she said. "I am ready for everything.", Siera then added. "And you?"

"I know how to hunt, gather, cook and heal without my power but I don't think we need to worry about healing, nothing that bad has ever happened. Maybe a sprain or a cold but nothing that needed healing, a sprain you just need ice and colds are easy to take care of." Kevin said, "Fevers and flus are much harder cause there are allot of different ones you can get here, snow flu, spider fever, wolf fever, snake fever, berry fever, mountain flu, and so much more and broken bones need mending." (bah ha ha ha ebil plan forming (:< )

Siera looked at Kevin. "Wow, that is much. All I have ever done without my power if fighting and hunting. I think I have to learn much more.", she said to him. She did not knew what to say more, she was somehow speachless.

"Alice taught me that, I'm not really good at healing but I can do some." Kevin said as he smiled a bit, "We are almost home."

"That is good.", she said and ment both things Kevin had said with that. "Were the guardians frienly to each other the whole time?", she asked the boy.

"Not the whole time, allot of the time a fight was with Jack but thats cause he is just a goof ball. One time he lost his memory and wasn't acting the same way, everyone missed the old Jack and even before that, everyone would have missed the old Jack. Sometimes Alex or Raven or Nick or Gavin would be fighting with each other but everyone thought of the others as family even if there was fighting." Kevin explained as they reached there house.

"Not long ago I have been thinking if I should also join the guardians. But I have the feeling that would not work.", Siera told Kevin.

"Sure maybe some won't like you at 1st but I know Brianne will forgive you. She is a very sweet and kind person but I would be scared of 2 people, Alex and Makai." He said as he started to pile the wood under a window near the fireplace.

"The knowledge spirit was the source of this idea. But when I saw my sister I knew that this would not work. The hate I feel for her was too strong.", Siera explained and laid down the wood.

"Kind of like how Eric hates Jack." he said as he finished up.

"I do not know. I have not searched for any information about that.", Siera said to Kevin.

"Its funny really yet also odd. Jack cares about Eric and would die for him even but Eric hates Jack with a passion. Many time he almost killed Jack and Jack even let him, everytime he would get better and i would ask why he let him, he would smile and say, 'He needs the training." and laugh. I never really understood Jack." Kevin said as he sat near the logs, "Jack is both the worst person ever and the nicest guy you could ever meet."

Siera laughed as she heared that. "As it seem the influence of my sister has changed Eric only a little bit.", she said. "Jack seems really to be a nice guy. I would have stopped that long ago."

"People do what they do." he said then stood up, "Well lets head inside now."

Siera looked around before she walked into the house. She wanted to know if Horu and Loru had awaken till now. So she ran into the living room.

Horu and Loru had left a while ago, so the house was empty.

Siera ran through the whole house before she excepted that Horu and Loru had left. "That is not fair. I would have wanted to say good bye to them.", she said as she returned to Kevin.

Kevin was laying on the couch, asleep. He was tired from walking and using his power while he still had a cold. The fire crackled as it warmed up the house.
