beginning of a new life

Siera let Kevin sleep and went into the kitchen. There she sat down and looked out of the window. She was thinking, thinking about everything that had happened and what she really wanted to do in the future. But for the last thing she found no real answer.

After a while, Kevin woke up, he sat up rubbing his head, "What time is it?" he asked.

"It is nearly getting dark.", Siera said to Kevin after he had awoken. She sat down beside him. "Everything ok?", she asked him as she saw him rubbing his head.

"Just a bit of a head ache." he said as he looked to her.

Siera shook her head. "Lie down again and let hope the head ache pass very fast.", she said to Kevin. She had nearly no experiences with sicknesses, but she had heared that head ache can be a sign that somebody was sick.

"But I feel fine, It's just a head ache and I don't think I have a temperature." he said as he slowly stood up. (He hates being sick so he denies that he is.)

Before Kevin could finish stand up, Siera pushed him on the couch again. "I might have no experience with healing, but I think I can find out if you have temperature.", she said to the boy. Then he held her hand around his neck and at his forehead. Then she looked Kevin into his eyes. "I am sorry, but you have temperature."

Kevin blinked, "But..." he said then pouted, "I probably just sent too much time near the fire."

"Then you would not be that warm. Lay down and relax.", she said to Kevin. Then she took a blanket and put it over the boy.

Kevin laid down, he hated being sick, it was one of the things that made him mad.

Siera did not knew what she could do for Kevin. So she ran into the kitchen making soup. When she returned to Kevin, she asked:"Do you know anything that can help you?"

"Well, I never been good at explaining." he said as he sat up, "I can show you but I need an animal."

"Alive or dead?", was Sieras only question. She did not like the thought to let him alone for hunting, but she will have to.

"alive of course, if its dead then I would dead too if i tried." Kevin said as he raised an eyebrow.

"Ok, it was only a question. Do not know what you want to do.", she said to the boy. Then she fast left the house. She looked if she could find a net outside and after she had found one, she rushed to the wood to catch an animal. It was both an easy and an difficult task. But she was lucky and found an rabbit very soon. She catched it with the net and ran back as fast as she could to Kevin. "So, here is your animal.", she shouted before she entered.

Kevin put a hand on his head and one on the rabbit, "Transfer state." he switched both the rabbits and his condition and he felt much better but now the rabbit was sick, "I think I'm going to name him...Fuzzball."

Siera looked at the rabbit. "Fuzzball? What a name should be that?", she asked Kevin. She was glad that he was not sick any more.

"Cause he is fuzzy." he said as he smiled as petted Fuzzball, "Bring him up stairs, thats were my supplies are."

Siera took Fuzzball and brought him upstairs. She felt sorry for the rabbit. She thought she might knew how he have to feel. Being used for something is not a good feeling.

Instead of going to his bed room, they went to a different room. Inside was a bed and shelves full of herbs and other stuff, "This is my studies room, can you put Fuzzball on the bed."

Siera did what she was told to. Before she turned, she looked again at the rabbit. It did not look good. "So, what are you doing now?", she asked.

"I didn't want to do that move on you to show you how to heal, I'm going to keep Fuzzball as a pet." he said as he took a vile of a pale green liquid and a needle, "!st we need to give it some medicine."

Siera nodded. She hold Fuzzball so that Kevin could do whatever he needed to do.

Kevin stuck the needle in Fuzzball's thigh, Fuzz jumped a bit when it went in, "There we go." Kevin then got a basket and a pillow, "He can sleep in this."

Siera puted Fuzz into the basket. "I think he will need the rest.", she said and looked at Kevin.
