beginning of a new life

Koru's large yellow eyes peered down at Seria, he puffed a cloud of smoke at her, "You work of that bastard, Mastermind." he said in a deep and ruff voice.

Siera looked into the big eyes of Koru. "Past tense, please. I worked for him. I have decided to leave him.", she told the dragon. She was not sure if Koru would believe her, but she had to try. More than telling the truth was not possible for her.

"Good, cause if you were lying..." He said but stopped cause he was sure she got the point, he looked at Kevin, "What do you want, boy?" his tone sounded more nicer. Kevin smiled, "I was wondering if you found the stone?" Koru sighed, "No, I haven't."

Siera had got the point. But then they were talking about a stone. "Sorry if I ask, but what stone are you talking about.", she asked. She only knew about one type of stone that would be worth talking about, and these were the element stones. And they were in the posession of Mastermind. Siera hoped that they were talking of some other stone.

"The dragon's eye also called the scale stone and the dragon stone." Kevin explained, "Koru is helping me find it."

Siera breathed out. It was not the stone she had thought. That was good. "That is very nice of you, Koru.", she shouted up to the dragon.

Koru growled, "Stop shouting, I may be old but I'm not deaf."

"Sorry. It is only because I have never talked with a big dragon like you before.", Siera said. This time she was not shouting. She looked at Kevin.

"What is your name girl?" Koru asked as his head lowered down to her.

"My name is Siera Wolfar.", she responded. She wondered why the dragon wanted to know it. She was sure that she would not see Koru later.

"Wolfar...do you happen to know a Trira Wolfar?" he asked as he sat down but lifted his head away from Seria.

"Yes. Trira is my twin sister.", Siera answered. She would not have thought that she would be remembered about her sister at a place like that. Even when she thought of Trira, hate comes up. But she tried to stay cool.

Koru glared down at Seria then lightly smacked her on the top of the head, "It is foolish to hate your own family." he said angrily.

Siera laughed. "Foolish? I do not think. If I would not hate them, I would not be different. And I would not be in the situation I am now.", she told Koru.

Kevin gulped as Koru's red turned red and steam came out of his ears and snout, "GET OUT!" he yelled which was deafening. Some rocks fell off the ceiling and crashed on the ground.

Siera looked at Koru. "As it seems, I have to learn much before I can talk normally to somebody. I wait for you, Kevin.", she said to Kevin, but still looked at the dragon. "I am sorry that I made you angry. I did not wanted to do it.", she told Koru and turned to go back. But she did not went far. She had promised Kevin to wait.

Koru's tail, blocked the way back to the portal and then slowly curled around Kevin and Seria, he brought them up to his face so he can see them, "I do forgive you." he said, "One other question....are you still working for Mastermind?"

Siera looked at the dragon. She did not want to say something wrong, even if some words were formed in her mind. Are you stupid? I have found out that he wants to kill me and I should work for him?, were these words. "No. Somebody told me that he was going to kill all his followers one day. So I left him.", she answered then.

"Don't call me stupid!" he said as he glared at her again then stopped, "Then I want you to do something."

Siera looked at Koru. "Can you warn me next time before you read my mind?", she asked friendly. Then she was interested what Koru could want from here. "Tell me what I should do."

"I want you to look after Kevin and help him find the Oru's." Then he opened his mouth and there was a book on his tongue, Kevin grabbed it, "That book has info on them. If Kevin or any of the Oru's are killed then you will die as well."

Siera nodded and bowed. "I will try everything I can that they do not die.", he told Koru. She was glad that she had to do this. That was what she had planned the whole time.

"Good." he set them down and then started to walk away. Kevin looked at the book then to Seria, "Lets go home, sis." he said then started off. (He considers u his sister now, lol aww how cute.)

"Yes. We have much to do.", she said to Kevin, smiling. She was glad that he had called her sister. Now she thought that the feeling about him as little brother was right.

They went to the portal and went through it, arriving home. "Let's get something hot to drink before we start reading the book." he said as he went out of the cellar.
