beginning of a new life

"Thank you." he said as he took a plate, "I hope we find Sprite by Luke's and Karma's wedding."

Siera thought for a while. Then, suddenly, she could remeber the wedding. She had heared of it before. "Oh, I hope Mastermind will not try to disturb it.", she said to Kevin.

"Most likely he will." Kevin said then took a bite of fruit.

Siera looked on her food. She was not hungry any more. "Then everything will be more difficult.", she said to Kevin.

"Nothings ever easy." Kevin said then took a bite of meat. After Kevin finsihed eating, he set the plate on the table and went to get his boots and other stuff on when there was a knock on the door.

Siera wanted to get the plates into the kitchen as she head the knock. Fast she turned around and said Kevin to stay where he was. Then she slowly walked to the door and took out her sword. "Who is there?", she asked loud.

Kevin looked to the door then went to a window near the door, a women with long grayish-blue hair and soft grey eyes was standing outside, she wore a blue and black striped scarf and a brown cloak with black pants, a long sleeved dull blue shirt and brown boots.

Siera opened the door a little bit and looked outside. Now she also could see the woman. She had a feeling, but she could not explain it. It was a feeling like she had often in her life as follower of Mastermind. "Who are you?", she asked again. Siera hid her sword behind the door.

The women blinked at Seria and then gave a small smile as she bowed, "I'm Sprite, co-head guardian." She straighten but still had her smile on, "I came to visit a boy named Kevin."

Siera looked one last time at the woman. Then she opened the door. "If I find out that you are not Sprite, I kill you.", she whispered. She did not wanted to worry Kevin by hearing that. "Kevin, come, visit for you!", she shouted and led Sprite into the living room. Now she knew what that feeling had been. It had been this feeling she had every time near a guardian.

Sprite frowned, "I wish for you not to threaten me." she said, Kevin smiled at Sprite, "Long time no see." he said. Sprite smiled as well.

As Siera found out that Kevin knew the woman, she believed it was Sprite and put away her sword. But she had an eye on Sprite. If she should do any kind of harm to Kevin, she would gain revenge.

"I would not hurt Kevin, Seria so I would like it if you can stop thinking that." Sprite said coldly.

Siera stared at Sprite. "What is today? The `We-all-read-Sieras-mind-day´? And how do you know my name?", she asked. Siera was sure that she had never met Sprite before.

"It's around the 5th day of 1st winter, and I can read your mind cause I have the same power as your boss, Mastermind." Sprite said as she went to the couch and sat down.

Siera looked angrily at Sprite. "Then I beg you to read my minds not too often.", she told her. "And Mastermind is not my boss any more.", she added. This glimps of hate in her eyes appeared again. She had lost it for a moment, but with Sprite saying such things it appeared again.

"I don't understand why you hate your sister, she is very nice." Sprite said, Kevin had went to get some tea.

"Because she ran away from her powers. I had hated her for that. I thought she is weak.", Siera explained. She tried to tell herself to cool down again. But she got angrier.

"She has been trying to control her power, she has helped Eric through his very difficult times." Sprite said as she frowned a bit.

Siera nodded. "That is right. But this happened all later. You do not know what I know.", she told Sprite. Then she sat down on the floor. "When we were 10, Trira and I found out that we have powers. I was really proud of them, but Trira feared them. She ran away, into the wilderness. I myself started to hate Trira. As I found out that she went to the guardians, my hate on her was so big, that I also started to hate them. That is why I joined Mastermind.", Siera explained. It was not easy for her to tell some stranger all this.

"That reminds me of someone I know." she said as she looked into Seria eyes, "We all have your fears but soon we over come them with help. Maybe instead of hating her, you showed have helped her."

"Now it is too late to think about what I should have done. But I am glad that everything had happened like that.", she told Sprite. It was true. She would never like to have another past, even if she was not really proud of her past.

Kevin brought Seria and Sprite some mint tea, "Thank you, Kevin." she said then took sip.

Siera took her cup. "Thank you Kevin.", she also said. Then she turned again to Sprite. "So, what do you want here?", she asked her.

"I want Kevin's help in finding my dragon." Sprite said then took a sip of tea.
